What is Slowtale?
Slowtale is a collection of choose-your-path text adventures that unfold over real days. Your story appears on your Lock Screen through a Live Activity, so a small decision can become part of your day.
What can I play for free?
The app will be free to download, with a meaningful free opening for each story. The Salt Road opening covers Days 1–2: you experience the Lock Screen, a real wait, and an early decision before choosing whether to unlock the rest.
How much do the stories cost?
At launch, The Salt Road is $3.99; Floor Twelve and Winter Under Glass are $2.99 each. These are one-time, non-consumable story unlocks, not subscriptions. Prices are in US dollars on the App Store and may vary by region.
Are there ads, gems, or a subscription?
No. You unlock individual stories. There are no ads, gems, subscriptions, or passes promising every future story. Waiting is part of the storytelling, not a currency to spend.
Can I share a story purchase with my family?
Story unlocks support Apple Family Sharing. Eligible family members can access a shared purchase through their Family Sharing group, subject to Apple’s settings and availability.
Do stories really take multiple days?
Yes. The story advances across real days, with time between moments. The Salt Road is about 24 days, Floor Twelve about 10 days, and Winter Under Glass about 12 days. These are approximate story durations, not a promise that every player will finish on the same date.
Will an unlock include every future story?
No. Each unlock is for the named story. New stories are separate purchases; there is no all-future-stories lifetime pass.
Where can I download Slowtale?
Slowtale is coming to the App Store. There is no public download or TestFlight invitation linked here yet. We will add verified links when they are available.
How do I restore a purchase or request a refund?
Use Restore Purchases in the app with the Apple Account that made the purchase. For a purchase problem, contact support@slowtaleapp.com. Apple handles App Store payments and refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I get help with the Lock Screen?
Check that Live Activities are allowed for Slowtale in iPhone Settings. If a story is not appearing, open the app and check the current story state. When contacting support, include your iOS version, app version, story title, and what you expected to happen. See our support page for more.
